This renovation of an existing thatch farmhouse was a labour of love as an owner built renovation. The architecture is inspired by traditional English thatch homes, with the interiors inspired by contemporary bush lodges. A key attribute of the design is the introduction of large rose windows which allow in generous amounts of natural light. The landscape design is characterized by berms, wild flowers, and a natural swimming pool.
