Tumbeta Game Reserve - Marongwe Lodge

 

A contemporary bush retreat, located in the North West portion of the Limpopo Province.

 

Marongwe Lodge, one of the original farm buildings, has been reimagined to connect with the land, mirroring Tumbeta’s vision of gradual rewilding.

 

The main lodge is articulated with modern farmhouse detailing that opens the gable ends into the view, creating generous yet intimate communal spaces.

 

Furniture and décor were curated with a timeless residential sensibility to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere, avoiding a theme. The details reflect the owners’ story and passion for place and rewilding.
